Learning Support
Randwick Boys’ High School encourages students to take the initiative to ask teachers for extra assistance with remediation or enrichment, both inside and outside of class time.

Learning Support Team
The Learning Support Team (LST) facilitates and coordinates a whole school approach to meeting the high support needs of some students. The role of the LST is to coordinate referrals from both inside and outside the school and plan, implement and monitor student outcomes.
A student may be referred to the LST if he
- has a disability (eg intellectual, physical, sensory, language, autism)
- has major behaviour/social/adjustment problems
- is a gifted and talented student who is underachieving
- has specific learning problems not attributable to ESL factor.
Homework Centre
Randwick Boys’ High School is committed to all students and aims to provide students with the skills required to achieve educational success.

The Randwick Boys’ High School Homework Centre enables students to access quality and contemporary resources in the Library. This includes the access of computers with specialist software for research and presentations, as well as a wide range of books for research or reading. Internet access is through the Department of Education’s filtered server and available to all students through individual profiles. The Homework Centre welcomes students to complete set homework, read, prepare assignments or revise for tests and exams with the assistance and supervision of two dedicated members of staff.
The Randwick Boys’ High School Homework Centre is a free service which operates every Monday and Thursday in the Library from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Study Skills
Randwick Boys’ High School organises several study skills sessions each year, for all Years 7 – 12. The material is presented by classroom teachers, in class time, and covers areas such as time management, exam preparation techniques, assignment techniques, study techniques, evaluation techniques, note-taking skills etc.
