Science

Science is a compulsory subject in all of years 7 to 10 and is studied in two stages, Stage 4 (years 7 and 8) and Stage 5 (Years 9 and 10) as preparation for the Board of Studies School Certificate Exam at the end of Year 10.

Stage 6 (Years 11 & 12) provides the opportunity for students to undertake specific area of study. The following subjects are offered as elective subjects at the end of Year 10, for study in Years 11 and 12:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Earth and Environmental Sciences*
  • Senior Science*

Excursions
