The purpose of the Junior syllabus is to provide students with the opportunity to build on the knowledge, understanding, skills, values and attitudes gained in Stage 3 and to encourage the desire to continue to learn music in formal and informal settings beyond Stage 5. Students will develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in the concepts of music through performing, composing and listening.

 

The Senior syllabus is a UAI based course which qualifies successful students for entry into a number of tertiary based courses. The course Students may start from scratch, however a background in practical music performance is highly advantageous.
