Location

The school is well located in the Eastern Suburbs, with bus services linking the school directly to many locations, including Maroubra, Mascot, Bondi Junction, Coogee, Clovelly, Central and Circular Quay. Students are drawn from the eastern suburbs of Randwick, Kensington, Maroubra, Kingsford, Coogee and surrounding areas. There is also a high percentage of out-of-area students who take advantage of the bus routes and links to train services. The school is close to tertiary institutions, including the University of New South Wales with which it has strong formal links and Randwick TAFE.

Eligible students are issued with bus and train passes as quickly as possible after enrolment.

Passes are held subject to good conduct and can be revoked. Students must ensure that they “dip” their passes as they enter the bus on the way to school and on the way home. Failure to do so indicates fewer students are catching bus services and as a result, services may be cancelled by Sydney Buses. Passes can also be revoked for behaviour on public transport, “swapping” of passes, travel outside of school hours and journeys not to and from home.
